Middle School Teacher

Elizabeth holds a bachelor’s degree from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada, and is certified to teach in the United States. Since beginning her teaching career in 2017, she has worked in Vietnam, Thailand, Italy, Albania, and New York City, bringing a broad international perspective to her teaching. At Pine Street School, Elizabeth teaches middle school Language and Literature and Individuals and Societies, drawing on her experience with inquiry-based IB education to help students make meaningful connections across subjects, cultures, and perspectives. She is committed to creating an inclusive classroom where students feel encouraged to think critically, ask thoughtful questions, and develop confidence in expressing their ideas. Originally from Connecticut, Elizabeth spent nearly 13 years living abroad and continues to enjoy traveling, exploring New York City, and learning about different cultures.
