Lindsay Stefferson

Parent Liaison and Executive Assistant

Lindsay joined the Pine Street School community in 2022 as a second grade teacher and immediately found a deep sense of belonging alongside a renewed excitement about education. After a decade of teaching experience both in the U.S. and in South Korea, the heart of the International Baccalaureate Programme inspired her to innovate and elevate her teaching practices. Her commitment to lifelong learning is evident in her M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction, B.S. in Communication Science and Disorders, B.A. in Sociology, and her elementary education teaching credentials. Lindsay transitioned from the classroom to administration in 2025, when she assumed the role of Parent Liaison and Executive Assistant to the Head of School. Her teaching experience and passion for championing high-quality education and strong family-school connections supports her daily work. Lindsay has honed strong organizational, management, and communication skills. Her educational philosophy embraces the whole child, recognizing and celebrating each student’s unique strengths, talents, and perspectives. She places great value on family–school partnerships, built on mutual trust and shared goals. Lindsay grew up in Tucson, Arizona and her start in New York City initially began on a whim. She has a passion for social justice and creative endeavors. Her scruffy terrier sidekick, June, turned 16 years old earlier this year. In her free time, you can find Lindsay checking out green spaces in the city, thrift shopping, or refining a new crafting skill.
