
Originally from Colombia, Marcela O’Reilly Montoya is a native Spanish speaker who believes language is a way to explore the world, build meaningful connections, and appreciate cultural diversity. With over 12 years of experience teaching students from preschool through elementary school, Marcela has worked in both Montessori and International Baccalaureate (IB) settings. She holds a degree in Spanish Education and literature, along with certifications in Latin American Studies and Montessori Education. Committed to lifelong learning, she continues to pursue professional development through IB training and looks forward to furthering her education in Speech-Language Pathology. Marcela creates joyful learning experiences where children build confidence, curiosity and a love for language and culture. Outside the classroom, she enjoys reading Spanish literature, cooking, rollerblading and dancing. As both a teacher and a parent at the school, Marcela values being part of a community where children are supported and encouraged to be themselves.
