Our Accreditations and Recognition

Pine Street School has earned recognition from some of the most respected names in education. Here's what each one means and why it matters for your child.

International Baccalaureate

Pine Street School is an authorized IB World School for the Primary Years Programme (PYP), which runs from age 3 through grade 5. It follows a multi-year process of training, review, and evaluation, and it connects us to a global network of schools that share the same rigorous, inquiry-based approach. A family that moves from Pine Street School to an IB school anywhere in the world will find a familiar way of learning. Learn more at the International Baccalaureate Organization.

Our Middle School is an MYP Candidate School and follows the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) framework in grades 6 - 8.

New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC)

We're accredited by NEASC, one of the country's oldest and most respected accrediting bodies. NEASC accreditation reflects high standards across the whole school, from teaching and learning to safety, governance, and resources.

Apple Distinguished School

Pine Street School is recognized as an Apple Distinguished School, an honor given to schools that use technology in creative, forward-looking ways. Ours reflects our one-to-one Apple device program and our focus on student agency, independence, and action. Technology here is a tool for thinking and creating, never a substitute for it. What Accreditation Means for Your Family

Pine Street School’s accreditations reflect regular review by outside organizations across areas such as curriculum, leadership, operations, and educational practice. They give families an independent measure of the school’s quality and accountability.
