Pine Street School tuition is designed to be comprehensive, covering the experiences and resources that support a rich and engaging school day.

At Pine Street School, tuition is designed to cover the core experiences and resources that support a rich, engaging school day—so families have a clear understanding of what is included in their investment.

Tuition includes:
Books and classroom materials
Educational technology used as part of the academic program, including access to devices such as iPads and MacBooks
Field trips, local learning experiences, and transportation during the school day
Lunch and snacks (provided by Little Green Gourmets)
Upper Elementary and Middle School co-curricular clubs and teams
Middle School high school placement support and test-preparation services

Some optional programs and experiences carry additional fees. These may include extended care, after-school enrichment, summer programs, and international travel. Families receive complete information about any additional costs before choosing to enroll in these offerings.

Financial Aid

We are equally committed to building a school community that reflects the diversity of New York City. Through our need-based financial aid program, we work to make a Pine Street School education accessible to qualifying families from a range of backgrounds and experiences.

Extended Day

Pine Street School offers before- and after-school programs that give families greater flexibility beyond the regular school day. Students can arrive early through Early Care, stay after dismissal in Clubhouse, or take part in after-school enrichment classes, tutoring, and co-curricular programs and teams.

For Early Care and Clubhouse, semester and full-year rates are based on the weekday selected. Families may enroll for one recurring weekday or multiple weekdays depending on their needs.

Students enrolled in an after-school enrichment class or tutoring session may join Clubhouse at no additional charge after their program ends and remain there until pickup.

Early Care

A supervised, welcoming start to the morning, with fruit and other snacks available before the school day begins.

Early Care is offered as a Monday–Friday package.

Semester, Monday–Friday: $960

Full Year, Monday–Friday: $1,920

Single-Day Add-On: $47 per hour

Dismissal – 6pm

Clubhouse

A device-free after-school setting with board games, building materials, study areas, arts and crafts, and time with friends.

After-School Enrichment Classes

A rotating selection of specialty classes that may include coding and robotics, chess, Taekwondo, music, cooking, dance, athletics, mathematics, and more.

Students enrolled in an enrichment class may join Clubhouse at no additional charge after their class ends and remain there until pickup.

Tutoring

Individual or small-group academic support, with options varying by age, subject, and availability.
